The Mt.Tabor Retreat Centre is owned and managed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of St.John’s Basseterre in Antigua and Barbuda. Our aim is to provide a safe Haven and a guide to Peace and enlightenment for our visitors through the power of Reflection, meditation and Prayer.
The Mt.Tabor facility also provides a unique experience of the Mill Hill Sugar Estate dating back to the 1600’s and now presented in a bold new landscape..
Mount Tabor is nestled on a small hilltop in the village of John Hughes, situated on the beautiful and scenic route between Orange Valley and Fig Tree Hill Drive in Antigua. Climb the stairs to the top of our refurbished sugar mill and enjoy a bird’s eye view of surrounding hills and the island’s lush, tropical rain forest.

The center is a lovely building made up of three levels. The upper level has ten double rooms, all en suite. A large shared veranda provides a quiet spot for reading and relaxation, or conversation with fellow guests.
The second level boasts a large dining area, a shared fully appointed kitchen and a sizable lounge with a television and WiFi accessibility. Also on this floor is a chapel as well as administrative offices.
Finally, the lowest level is where you will find the audio / visual room which may also serve as a conference room.
